Ic water spray

Wurde hier ja schon oft drüber gesprochen, ich hab`s mir mal gebaut, und funktioniert echt geil...

Hab meine Anleitung mal aus einem anderen Forum genommen:

Water spray is a good way to keep your intercooler cool, even when it`s on top of the engine...

I used the pump for the rear window washer, because I didn`t see any possibility to fit an extra tank in the engine bay.

First you shoud consider how you want to control the spray. Mine is controlled by 3 devices at same time:
-Temp sensor and controller assembly; automatically activates at an adjustable temp;
-a push switch to control it manual

I also used a on/off switch to cut the power if water is empty, etc. To control the pump I put in a relay besides the pump.

Let`s start from the inside...

Just unplug the washer hose and put on a new one on the pump. Route it to the Ic and put on nozzles. First I tried a hose where I cut small holes in. It worked well, but not good enought. I think the hose wasn`t good enought. Looked like this:



You can see the temp sensor pushed into the Ic...

Now I got nozzles from a garden supply shop, which work pretty well:
