Project Ultra7M - update

Here is a small update on the project Ultra7M. The 7M engine I'm building for Christian.
The bottom-end is strengthened using a main girdle. The girdle connects all ARP studs from the main caps with eachother, preventing the crank and caps from 'walking' or 'dancing' under very high load. Obviously the engine needs to be line honed when you mount the girdle.

On top of the girdle we mount a splash guard. This guard prevents the crank to splash through the oil that is in the pan. The splash guard will be mounted with a few bolts to the main girdle:

The oil pan we extended. The capacity is about half a liter to a liter higher. This means more oil and more oil means more stable oil temperatures and less chance on oil starvation with high cornering or very high load (when the oil tends to sit in the head instead of the block).
