This is a must for any and all turbocharged cars, stock or modified. A turbo timer prevents damage to your turbo from heat and oil. This unit has an easy to use panel face and a modern, high fashion design. It keeps the engine idling after the ignition key is removed. This prevents hot oil from clogging up the oil lines of the turbo. Turbos need time to let oil pass through its lines to cool down. Failure to do so results in burning oil eventually leaving burnt deposits along the inside of the oil lines. This will eventually cause the oil to clog and damage the turbo. Remember, factory turbos are just as susceptible to oil & heat damage as an aftermarket turbo
The new Greddy timer shown here has several features beyond being a turbo timer:
Two standard programmable count down presents
Auto timer shutdown - the timer determines for you how long to idle your car before shutting it down
Stopwatch & Lap Time modes
Attack modes showing you the elapsed time it takes you to get from pre-determined speeds (0-200m, 0-400m, 200-400m, 0-100km/h, 0-200km/h, 50-100km/h, etc.)
Voltmeter & Speedometer
Purchase with a Greddy Turbo Timer Harness for easy installation (available on this page for most applications). Choose a black or silver casing by clicking on More Info.
