Contrary to popular opinion, not all calipers are the same. ZMI takes brake calipers to a new level. Here's how:
ZMI calipers are created out CNC machined aluminum not cast aluminum. This allows us to keep extremely high tolerances to ensure flawless performance every time.
All calipers have internally ported brake lines. No outer hard lines that may be susceptible to damage. This also helps reduce weight.
Our blade style rotor allows us to use a very narrow bridge on the caliper giving the caliper more rigidity, greater strength and less flex under intense braking, giving you piece of mind stop after stop.
With a narrow bridge and internally porting our calipers are extremely lightweight. Our 200 series 4 piston caliper weighs less than 4 lbs (consider that average stock caliper weighs over 10 lbs). This helps reduce your vehicles un-sprung weight thus significantly improving your handling.
Using a Lustergard coating, we are able to maintain the polished look without having to use a clear coat (clear coating does not allow good heat transfer) thus giving you very stylish and unique look that stands out from the crowd.
In order to reduce rotational weight you have to reduce rotor and hat weight. In order to do that you either have to change the material or change the amount of material you use.
We did both and then some:
ZMI rotors are born from aerospace grade titanium for unprecedented weight savings and uncompromising strength.
A patented design is cut into the rotor to allow for the "active cooling system" to take effect. This cut allows the rotor to expand under heat in such a way that air can enter and cool the rotor more effectively than veins or cross-drilling. This design guarantees that your ZMI rotor will never warp due to heat. Also, the slotting prevents pads from glazing over and causing brake fade as well as dissipating brake gases.
Another patented process in the form of a "intermetallic coating" that is done to the rotor.
This creates two advantages:
a. It hardens the titanium for greater durability, less wear and longer life. These may well be the last rotors you will ever buy.
b. Increased co-efficient of friction against other materials i.e. your brake pads. This give you more bite when you need it.
ZMI hats are CNC machined out of billet aluminum for an exact fit. These hats are then Lustergarded for a long lasting, great looking finish.
a. The hat and rotor are put together using NAS grade hardware for unwavering durability under high stress.
Rotors are available in different diameters as well as different thicknesses and come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against warping, premature wear, breakage, cracking or defects.

ZMI Brake Lines - Simply the best!
ZMI brake lines are second to none when it comes to performance. These have a stainless steel outer braid, a Kevlar inner braid with a Teflon core. While this may seem a bit overdone, it really puts these lines ahead of the competition.
Here's why:
Inner and outer braid combine reduce line expansion by up to 500% over regular stainless steel braided lines. This means a much firmer pedal under hard braking.
Maximum burst pressure is over 28,000psi. This provides maximum performance even under the most intense conditions. While most brake systems only exert a possible 2000 psi under hard braking, even 2000psi is half the capacity of most stainless steel brake lines in market today. That doesn't leave much room for error.
ZMI brake lines are fully DOT approved.
Teflon inner core allows any DOT brake fluid to be used even DOT 5 silicone.
All ZMI brake lines come assembled for worry free fit and outstanding performance.
